How can we help you?

Managing bookings requests

You can review all incoming booking requests, manage your confirmed reservations, and track your history directly in your Booking Hub by clicking on 'Bookings' in the left-hand menu. If you are having any issues accessing your requests, please contact our support team for assistance.

Efficient management is key to becoming a top host. Our platform provides tools to help you streamline your process from the moment an inquiry comes in to the guest's checkout.

How Booking Requests Work
There are two primary ways a guest can book your property. Understanding the difference is crucial for managing your calendar effectively.

Request to Book: When a guest sends a "Request to Book" you have 24 hours to either accept or decline the reservation. During this time, you can review the guest's profile, read their reviews from other hosts, and message them if you have any questions. If you do not respond within 24 hours, the request will expire.

Instant Book: If you have this feature enabled, guests who meet your requirements can book your property instantly without waiting for your approval. The booking is automatically confirmed, which is a great way to streamline your process and get more bookings, but it requires you to keep your calendar perfectly up-to-date.

Accepting & Declining Requests
When you receive a "Request to Book," you will be notified via email and on the platform.

To Accept: You should accept a booking when you are comfortable with the guest's profile and the dates work with your calendar. Once you accept, the booking is confirmed, and the guest's payment is processed.

To Decline: You can decline a request for various reasons, such as a conflict with your calendar or if the guest's profile does not meet your requirements. When you decline, the guest's payment is not processed.

Communicating with Guests
Clear and prompt communication is the foundation of a great guest experience. Best practices for responding to inquiries and managing communication include:

Be Responsive: Respond to all inquiries and booking requests as quickly as possible. This shows that you are an attentive host and can help you secure more bookings.

Be Professional: Maintain a friendly and professional tone in all your communications.

Provide Key Information: Once a booking is confirmed, use the chat feature to provide the guest with all the necessary information, such as directions, check-in instructions, and your house rules.
