What is VAT?

Value Added Tax (VAT) is a consumption tax that is being introduced by the UAE Government on January 1st 2018 at a standard rate of 5% applicable on most goods and services across the UAE.

Which dubizzle services will be subject to VAT?

VAT will only apply to paid services, i.e. sellers who post an ad in a paid category, such as Motors, Property, Jobs, as well as featured ads in any category.

Will VAT charges show on the invoice?

In compliance with the provisions of the law and its Executive Regulations, all services provided by dubizzle starting 1st January 2018 will be subject to VAT, which will be clearly reflected on all invoices.
