To combat online frauds and scams, users must verify their account. Users must have a local mobile number in order to place an ad on dubizzle as over 99% of the scams we have encountered on dubizzle were placed by users outside of the UAE.

After you place your first ad, you will be asked to verify your account.

As we are still upgrading our system, you may be prompted to verify your account by either sending a verification SMS OR entering a verification code that'll be sent to the mobile number you've entered during registration.

Sending Verification SMS

 

SMS must be sent using the same mobile number you've entered during your registration.

Make sure you are in the UAE and have enough credit for this service as there will be a "one-time fee of 2 Dhs/sms".

 

Entering Verification Code

The dubizzle Verification code is an automated 7-digit number which you will receive via SMS from dubizzle.

The dubizzle Verification code will be valid for 15 minutes per session from the time of generation, after which it expires. In the case of dubizzle Verification code expiry, posting an ad needs to be re-initiated where the dubizzle Verification code will be generated again.
